THE ESSENTIAL APPOINTMENT OF THE ACTORS OF THE VIDEO GAME
For its 10th consecutive edition, the event celebrated Pop Culture in all its forms. Builders, editors, studios and props gather to present end-of-year novelties, 2020 games in preview, technological innovations like new consoles and virtual reality, and Esport competitions.
A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE
Players, families, cosplayers and curious meet every year to share a moment of total immersion in the world of video games. From the great retrogaming classics to the technological innovations that will make the games of tomorrow, Paris Games Week is the federative event for passionate about video-game culture. The proposed visit is varied and full of discoveries. Hall 2 includes a family area dedicated to juniors (3-12 years), where you can learn to code with your child (GameCode) or make you aware of responsible gaming (Pedagojeux.fr) and PEGI signage. French creativity and know-how are in the spotlight in the Jeux Made in France space, as are the independent European studios in the IndieCade area. Art and literature are at the heart of the art gallery by ARTtitude and a unique bookstore in France where you will find rare books. It is also possible to find out about industry training courses and trades within the "Schools & Training" area. Hall 3 is entirely devoted to Esport with the international competitions of ESWC and ESL. Finally, the Game Connection, which is held jointly, brings together more than 3,000 professional participants from the European sector.
The 11th edition will take place in Paris - Porte de Versailles from the 23 to 27 October 2020. It will extend to halls 1, 2.2 and 3 for a total of 80,000 m².
